The final conference of the Gender Gap in Science Project will take place from 4th to 8th of November 2019 at ICTP Trieste with the following program:
- Report on the findings and achievements of the project: (1) the joint global survey with 45,000 respondents (male and female) in more than 130 countries using 8 languages, (2) the joint study on publication patterns analyzing comprehensive metadata sources of publications of more than 500,000 scientists since 1970, (3) a database of good practices for girls and young women, parents, and organizations.
- Discussion and evaluation of the results of the project.
- Formulation of recommendations and discussion of new initiatives.
The program will include a public lecture directed at the whole scientific community present at ICTP about the findings of our project.
